Customer Attuned Director Peter Lavers contributes to major new SAS report on retail spending

Customer Attuned’s founding director Peter Lavers has contributed a section to SAS UK & Ireland’s brand new retail shopping report:

Christmas yet to come: How retail analytics can drive sales and brand loyalty.

He did this as an independent customer experience specialist, giving expert perspective to SAS’s insights.

The report is based on research of 3,000 shoppers in the UK & Ireland in the run-up to Black Friday.

In his section, Peter asserts that “Retailers will need to be insight-led and creative if they want a share of Christmas spending”, and discusses how threats can be turned into opportunities through insight-led creativity and innovation.

The whole report is a fascinating read, clearly setting out the challenges that retailers are facing in these volatile and uncertain trading conditions.
